Space Wolves 13th Company Army list

I was going through my stuff over on Bolter and Chainsword, and found this old army I had posted on my blog there. At the time, I was wanting to make a Space Wolves 13th Company list similar to what they had in the Eye of Terror codex. Looking back at the list, it doesn't seem to bad. There are a few small changes I would want to make, like swapping power weapons for fists and taking a second special weapon over the heavy bolter. I may have to revisit this list this winter after I get my Dark Angels and Orks finished. Maybe by then I'll at least have my Dark Eldar assembled.

If anyone has any thoughts or ideas on how to make this list better, but keeping it with the fluff of Bulvye's Great Company, let me know. All the comments in the army list are exactly as I wrote them in April of 2008!! I think it was still fourth edition then....

The undivided deamon weapon serves two purposes. 1) It represents both a frost blade with the +1 strength and the Mark of the Wulfen with the extra attacks. Everything else is pretty much self explanitory.

The sorceror is my rune priest. I hated the fact that the wolf codex makes them leadership 9. I chose doombolt as it is close to the old marine power Smite, and wind of chaos as it fits with doombolt. No lash, as it doesn't make sense with this army. I considered warptime to fit with the Gate power in the 13th co codex, but I like this setup better.

Can't have a great company without Grey Hnuters can you? We all know the 13th Co. was made up of those with the curse, but there had to be regular troops as well. Since Long Fangs wouldn't be there, I am only using heavy bolters. Also, rhinos would be envolved in basic operations as well, so here they are.

These guys are the ones whom have been lucky enough to win themselves suits of terminator armour over the past 10,000 yrs. Several went into the warp with this armour, but over time, the countless battles and lack of supplies have made these guys look for newer parts whenever possible.

Deamons as wolves? Yep. You don't see them coming until they are ready to strike. There are few of these guys left, but the ones who remain are extremely loyal to their marine masters and will do anything to protect them, and vice versa.
