Welcome!

After reading and subscribing to all kinds of blogs, I've decided to start one myself. I like seeing what others are doing when it comes to things like Warhammer Fantasy & 40K. What new armies they are working on, new conversions, painting tips, etc. All of these inspire me to try new ideas when making my own armies.
A little more about me. My main 40K army is my Ultrawing's. This army came about because I hate the colors that the Dark Angels Deathwing are painted. I love the idea of fielding a small, elite force even though my win loss record is not that great with them! Here a few photos of them as of now. I have 5 Deathwing squads, 2 dreadnoughts, 1 Forge Wold Venerable Dreadnought, a Librarian & Chaplain, and 3 Landraiders (2 of which can be either standard or crusaider pattern). I plan on adding two sniper scout squads and a master of the forge so that I can use them with Codex Space marines.

My second 40K army is my Space Wolves. I started playing 40K back in 3rd edition in 1998 with Space Wolves. Even though I really like the small compact force of my Ultrawing, the look and background of the Space Wolves had always been my favorite. Right now the army is still very much a work in progress. There are 4 Grey Hunter Squads with just about every option, 1 squad of Blood claws, a few Land Speeders & Rhino / Razorbacks, some Terminators and Long Fangs, and my Thunderwolves made from Blood Crushers.

The latest army that I am starting on for 40K is Orks! I'm doing this army for two reasons. One, I want a fun and crazy army. Two, I want to convert each and every model in the army. By taking Mad Doc Grotsnick and a Big Mek I am going to give every ork some sort of bionic enhancement. Right now the army is still in boxes until I get my Space Wolves painted.

Well, that seems be to enough for my first post. Hopefully I will continue to keep this blog updated and make it a serious part of my hobby.
