Well, after reading this post over at Hivemind aka Starminer's blog Caution: Bonds Skin Instantly, I decided that a build list with a status for each item would be a good idea. Not only that, but I seem to be motivated more by being able to see progress in what ever I'm doing when it is charted out.
If you've noticed, I've added a few pages to the top of the blog for each army I currently own and one for terrain that I want to eventually make. Some time this week I am going to fill out each of those pages with all the models I have or want to get and the status of all of them. If I have a blog post on something, I'm also going to include a link to it from the page. My goal is to get at least two units painted a month to the same standard as my last batch of Orks or better. Two units may seem like a lot, but I figured I could break it up and do a squad and a vehicle.
We'll see how this goes, and if I can get my Orks finished by the end of the year!

ReplyDeleteGood luck with this Asmodai, and I'm glad to have inspired somebody to improve their hobby. I'll be following to watch your progress, and help cheer you on if you start lagging behind. Hopefully though, the inspiration and motivation continue to flow!
